I love water! I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan, and there is nothing that sets the world at bay and rights perspective faster than the wind in my hair, the sound and smell and vastness of water as far as the eye can see. It's not the ocean, but it's enough, and your post took me right there. Blessings, Chris!

Living within sight of the ocean, I can definitely agree that it shows the hand of God. However, I would also add that his hand is everywhere...in a leaf, in a tree, in a bird. We have many humingbirds coming to our feeders. One recently have a close encounter of the bad kind with one of our cats. We brought her inside, put her in a birdcage and provided her with sugar water and fresh fuscia flowers. She rehabilitated over the following two weeks. She never displayed any fear of us - seemed to understand we were trying to help her. When my wife decided she was ready to go and set her free, off she went. She came back the next day and hovered in front of my wife as if to say, "See, I'm okay. Thank You." Consider how big a hummingbird's brain must be and all it can do. Let's see someone build a computer that size with half as much power.
Peace and Blessings

Though I am not a camper, I can appreciate the joys you experience from a few past memories with family growing up. Yes, being away from the hustle and bustle is a calming and beautiful opportunity. But it isn't limited t just camping. My home office window faces the mountains and I love that view. For me it can calm and relax me on hectic days.

I loved your post-I love camping and being in the vastness of God's wondrous creation-there is no better place I enjoy being. The scent of pine, babbling brooks, an eagles cry and chirp of crickets, oh how could I forget the stars-like tine diamonds. I could smell the campfire and taste those marshmallow's. Blessing with your writing endeavors
